Event Info:

Belle Maer Harbor launched its inaugural “Marina Fun Day” on National Marina Day in 2011 and has continued the tradition each year on National Marina Day. This event includes participation by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary which performs Courtesy Vessel Safety Checks for mariners who want to comply with requirements. While some plans for the 2013 event still need to be confirmed, there will be a Kid’s Fishing Contest, a fire engine with crew demonstrations, K-9 unit demonstrations, a bounce house, balloon tying, duck pond and piñata smash, barbeque dinner, live band and more. Belle Maer Harbor’s Marina Fun Day has become one of the most anticipated and best attended events of the season because of our programming for safety and education, kids events, games and activities, as well as the entertainment the marina provides free of charge.

We are a marina/boat dealership on a seven lake chain of lakes in southeastern Michigan. We are interested in participating in National Marina Day by providing boats for boat rides and driving experiences. We also have Stand Up Paddleboards and can provide demonstration and safety instruction on the boards. We have not participated in the past and would like information on certified boat driver trainers. We would like to also get information on getting trainers certified.
