2007 Winner "Best Viewed From a Boat" Fireworks Display

Discover Boating identified 10 of the top in-water destinations to view the country’s most elaborate Independence Day fireworks displays. Americans from coast to coast were invited to cast their vote for their favorite spot to check out Fourth of July fireworks from aboard a boat. For the second year in a row, Milwaukee, Wis. received the highest vote tally and was named the 2007 winner of Discover Boating’s “Best Viewed from a Boat” Fireworks Display. On July 3, thousands gathered on Milwaukee’s Lake Michigan shoreline (near Veterans Park) and aboard hundreds of boats to watch the U.S. Bank fireworks show.
