Enter Discover Boating’s Best Boat Name Contest!

Rules and Regulations

• Create a memorable, unique or humorous boat name
• Submit your entry, using the online form on discoverboating.com
• All entries will be judged by designated professionals and a list will be narrowed to 20 boat names. The best boat name (out of the 20 chosen) will be voted by discoverboating.com site visitors May 24th –June 15th. All decisions are final.
• Each visitor to the site may only vote once every 20 minutes. In the event that more than one vote was cast from the same IP address within a 20 minute time frame, Discover Boating will count only one vote per IP address. Discover Boating reserves the right to remove any votes it believes were submitted illegitimately.
• In the event that the same boat name is entered by two or more persons, and the boat name is considered a winner, the entry received earliest shall receive the prize.
• We must receive your entry no later than May 23rd, 2007
• Winner's will be notified by e-mail or phone and the winning entries will first appear on this page on June 16 2007
• All prizes are non-transferable and void where prohibited by law. No cash substitution of prizes allowed.
• Winners understand and agree that they are responsible for any and all taxes incurred on prizes received.
• Employees of Discover Boating and their families or households are ineligible to enter or win
• Discover Boating, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors or representatives absolve themselves of any liability, financial or otherwise, resulting from any contests conducted by NMMA or discoverboating.com.
• Additions or deletions to these rules may be made at the discretion of NMMA and may be enacted at any time.
• Sponsor (BoatRenting.com) agrees to provide two (2) airfare tickets for the contest winner to one of the 12 boating destinations provided by Forever Resorts. Sponsor also agrees to cover all fuel costs associated with houseboat renting, as well as $500.00 damage deposit required for the houseboat renting. Sponsor will also provide a houseboat operator, if requested by contest winner.
• Sponsor (Forever Resorts) agrees to provide 3 days and 3 nights houseboat weekend getaway to one of the 12 available boating destinations provided by Forever Resorts. Renter will need to sign a rental agreement. All rentals are limited to adults age 21 and older with valid automobile driver's license. All operation procedures are reviewed with customer at the marina. No special boat license is needed, only respect for size of craft, its engines, basic boating rules and courtesy. Winner will be instructed on how to operate boat with hand on hand instructions. Airfare and boat rental is subject to basic travel black out dates (Holidays). Winner will be able to choose a weekend (FRI, Sat, Sunday return Monday) from Aug 17th through Nov 30 excluding Labor day weekend.
